Terms of Service

Zabotique (the “Service”, “we”, “us”) is a boutique of digital wedding and engagement invitation templates operated by Ziad Abdelsalam, a sole proprietor based in Egypt. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

We sell access to designed invitation templates. After purchase, you customise the template with your event details (names, date, venue, photos, etc.) and we host the result at a unique URL for 30 days from your event date. After expiry the invitation is gracefully archived. You may also commission a fully custom invitation through the inquiry form at /custom; commissions are quoted and priced separately and are governed by the same Terms unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Payments for self-serve templates are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Paddle.com Market Limited or its affiliates), who acts as the Merchant of Record for the transaction. Your payment contract is between you and Lemon Squeezy. Your service contract (delivery and hosting of the invitation) is between you and Zabotique. Applicable taxes are collected by Lemon Squeezy at checkout.

Because the templates are delivered immediately upon successful payment, sales are final. We may, at our discretion, issue a refund if (a) the template fails to render due to a fault on our side, (b) you discover the issue within 7 days of purchase, and (c) you have not yet published the invitation. Refund requests are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may take 5–10 business days to return to your original payment method.

You retain ownership of the names, dates, photos, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process Your Content for the sole purpose of operating the Service. You confirm that you have the right to use Your Content (e.g. you own or have permission for any photos uploaded).

The template designs, code, fonts, animations, brand, and all other material that we provide remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Purchasing access to an invitation does not transfer ownership of the underlying design. You may not extract, redistribute, resell, or use the templates outside the hosted invitation we deliver.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• upload illegal, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
• impersonate a third party or misrepresent the event;
• attempt to circumvent our access controls, RLS policies, or billing system;
• upload malware, scripts, or content that interferes with the operation of the Service for others.

We may suspend or remove invitations that violate this section without refund.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update the Service, the templates, or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the invitation giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including disappointed guests, missed RSVPs, or lost photographs you have not backed up elsewhere).

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in Section 4.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes will be resolved before the competent courts of Cairo, without prejudice to your mandatory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
